How to log in to bthomehub.home

Connect your phone or computer to the BT Home Hub / Smart Hub (UK) by Wi-Fi or a network cable. On a phone, turn off mobile data.
Open a browser and type http://bthomehub.home in the address bar (not the search box).
Enter the login: Admin password printed on the hub’s settings card or label.
Change the Wi-Fi name and password, update the firmware or check connected devices.

bthomehub.home only works on the device’s own network. It is a local address, not a public website, so it will not load over mobile data or another Wi-Fi.
Use the IP address instead: 192.168.1.254. It works even when the name does not.
Type http://, not https://, and turn off VPN, Private DNS or Private Relay. They can stop local names from working.
Clear the browser cache or try a private window. Browsers sometimes remember a failed lookup.
If the name fails, type 192.168.1.254. The admin password is different from the Wi-Fi key.
Still stuck? Reset the device to restore the default address and password.
