How to log in to routerlogin.net
- Connect your phone or computer to the Netgear routers (Nighthawk and others) by Wi-Fi or a network cable. On a phone, turn off mobile data.
- Open a browser and type
http://routerlogin.netin the address bar (not the search box). - Enter the login: admin / password.
- Change the Wi-Fi name and password, update the firmware or check connected devices.
routerlogin.net not working?
- routerlogin.net only works on the device’s own network. It is a local address, not a public website, so it will not load over mobile data or another Wi-Fi.
- Use the IP address instead: 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1. It works even when the name does not.
- Type http://, not https://, and turn off VPN, Private DNS or Private Relay. They can stop local names from working.
- Clear the browser cache or try a private window. Browsers sometimes remember a failed lookup.
- Netgear Orbi uses orbilogin.com and Netgear extenders use mywifiext.net.
- Still stuck? Reset the device to restore the default address and password.
