How to log in to gateway.2wire.net

  1. Connect your phone or computer to the older AT&T 2Wire gateways by Wi-Fi or a network cable. On a phone, turn off mobile data.
  2. Open a browser and type http://gateway.2wire.net in the address bar (not the search box).
  3. Enter the login: Device Access Code on the gateway label.
  4. Change the Wi-Fi name and password, update the firmware or check connected devices.

  • gateway.2wire.net only works on the device’s own network. It is a local address, not a public website, so it will not load over mobile data or another Wi-Fi.
  • Use the IP address instead: 192.168.1.254. It works even when the name does not.
