How to log in to the EnGenius Standalone AP (EWS/ECW series)

  1. Connect to the EnGenius Standalone AP (EWS/ECW series) by Wi-Fi or a network cable. On a phone, turn off mobile data.
  2. Open a browser and go to EnGenius.local or 192.168.1.1.
  3. Sign in with admin / admin.
  4. Open the Wireless or Wi-Fi section to change the network name and password.

  • Someone may have changed it. A factory reset restores the login above.
  • Reset: Hold the reset button for about 10 seconds.
